Latest news: My work was featured in the April 2009 edition of 'The Dolls House Magazine'
and the September 2009 edition of 'Miniature Collector'
and previously in the 2007 December/Christmas issue of
'The Dolls House Magazine'.
I was lucky enough to be featured on the BBC in November 2007, the video of which can be seen by clicking the link below.
Welcome and thankyou for viewing my web pages.
I live in Kidderminster (Worcestershire) am a completely self taught artist and I have miniature paintings in private collections all around the world.
I started out painting full size paintings in watercolour and then after painting a miniature for a friend's dollshouse I became hooked on miniature painting, however I soon came across my first real problem, miniature frames, there are cheap imported frames readily available, but these are not of the best quality they are too bulky and usually not very square and having spent many hours on a miniature painting I decided that I would have to make my own frames to show my paintings at their best.
It took a lot of patience and practice before I managed to make the quality frame that I was after, mainly using mahogany which I find has a nice smooth finish and then again after many hours of practice I have been able to create some fancy period style frames which I can now produce in resin.
